A Curious Allergic Reaction To Exercise...

Posted by Kelly Madsen

I have discovered that me and thousands of other people around the world are quite literally allergic to exercise. A few weeks ago I went running with my friend Megan and after pushing myself for a good hard run at the SFH track I stepped outside and sneezed. As I headed back to my car I counted 15 sneezes in 10 minutes! My eyes were watering and tears were rolling down my cheeks. Tears were rolling down Megan's cheeks too 'cause she was laughing so dang hard. I just couldn't seem to get the infernal tickling in my nose to go away. Sneeze after sneeze went on with slight decreasing frequency for a couple of hours. My nose would not stop running all night and into part of the next day. This was the second post-run sneezing attack I'd experienced. Luckily after some intense googling I found that I was most definitely not the only weirdo out there with this same freak occurrence. Check this out:
The Severe Post-Run Sneezles
If these attacks continue, I may have to stop training for that Tiffany's half marathon, and abandon the hope of maintaining my girlish figure.

I think that is just great. I mean great. What a funny thing to get to say. Oh I'm allergic, no thanks. It sounds about as logical as my brother telling the waitress that he can't have tomatoes on his salad or he will break out in huge hives, but really he just doesn't want tomatoes. I'll give it to you Kell, that's a weird one. <3 <3

Hmm, the sneezing fit was AFTER the exercise, don't you think that might be an indicator that there was something in the air outside SFH that might possibly have been the REAL culprit?!!! Nice try......
